Secret agent Mr. Adolph Verloc operates from a seedy Soho shop, where he deals in pornography and espionage. Novelist Joseph Conrad, one of the first English "modernists," was considered by critics to be the single most important innovator of twentieth-century literature. Among his most famous works are Heart of Darkness and Lord Jim.
Steven Crossley has recorded over two hundred audiobooks and has won multiple AudioFile Earphones Awards. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, his audiobook performances cover an eclectic range of subjects in both fiction and nonfiction.
