Jean Fullerton is the British author of 11 historical novels, nearly all set in the East End of London where she was born and spent most of her working life. She is a qualified District and Queen's nurse who worked first as a Sister in charge of a team, and then as a District Nurse tutor. She is also a qualified teacher and spent twelve years lecturing on community nursing studies at a London university. She now writes full-time.

To date she has narrated more than 250 audiobooks, including titles by bestsellers such as Jacqueline Wilson and Philippa Gregory, as well as voicing numerous corporate and commercial campaigns.
