Allen De Keyser is a survivor, storyteller, and mental health advocate whose life was forever changed by trauma—but not defined by it. After enduring violence, near-death experiences, and personal loss, Allen has walked the long road of healing with the support of faith, family, and his loyal psychiatric service dog, Harley.
Through his writing, Allen opens the door to honest conversations about PTSD, invisible wounds, and the daily fight to keep going. His words are not clinical—they’re real. They come from the trenches of experience, offered with humility, hope, and the belief that survival is a form of strength.
Allen is also the creator behind the YouTube channel @DE_KEYSER, where he shares uplifting content about healing, dogs, and the power of resilience. He lives with his wife Marqueta and their beloved dogs Harley, Pebbles, and Fendi, continuing to turn his pain into purpose one chapter at a time.
