Thus Thomas Covenant, accompanied by Linden Avery, begins his search for the One Tree aboard the giantship Starfareâs Gem. Armed with the knowledge given to him in Andelain by his trusted friend, the Forestal Hile Troy, Covenant was determined to succeed.
