Once upon a time there lived a puddle. Everyone around loved her and affectionately called her a Little Puddle. She was very neat and always looked after herself. And she allowed the dog to drink, and the sparrows to bathe, and saved the frogs from the heat. She enjoyed the sun, and also loved the rain that brought her news. Birds decorated its bottom with pebbles. And in the deepest place, from under a large stone, a small spring was born. That is why the Little Puddle lived and was not afraid of heat and drought.
