SPOILER FREE. An entertaining if simplistic narrative, especially for lovers of gore. While I enjoyed the story and variety of characters I found myself constantly taken out of the experience by the repetitive sexualisation of all the female protagonists, that aspect did get boring quickly and is my only real gripe with this story. The Haunted Forest Tour is a grim little tale that mixes horror and action with so many imaginative creatures that are familiar, new, and incomprehensible. If you like your gore by the bucket, your monsters in their drives and your coworkers the sexiest thing on two legs, this is fun. Not brilliant, not cerebral, but fun, and certainly not boring.
