Nancy's path toward writing came later in life, via an unconventional route. As an inventor (Pie Saver) and entrepreneur, she owned several different businesses over the years. With three grandchildren and a little more time on her hands, she decided to pursue a lifelong desire to write children's books.Her passion for healthy eating led her to develop a series called "Chompy and the Munchy Bunch," about a carrot named Chompy who discovers a secret formula (made from carrots) for super-power eyesight, called "Chompy Juice." Chompy and his pals go on some wild adventures! "The Greasy Chip" is the volume most focused on the nutritional aspect of the series. Readings are followed by a fun nutritional activity involving food groups and a spinning wheel.Nancy lives in Maine and Florida with her husband of 42 years. They have two children and three grandchildren. She love the outdoors, fishing, swimming, anything adventurous, and loves to cook, bake, and read - but most of all spending time with their grandchildren!
