Imogen Matthews is an Oxford-based, award-winning and internationally bestselling author and journalist with a passion for forgotten stories from wartime Holland. Matthews was born in Rijswijk, Holland, to a Dutch mother and English father who moved the family to England when Imogen was very young. All her life, she listened to her mother’s stories about her life in Holland, in particular the hardships she faced during the 1944–45 'Hunger Winter', and this has had a profound impact on her writing.
Fleur De Wit is a London-based actor, singer and voice artist fluent in English, French and Dutch. She read Classics at Oxford before training as an actor at East 15. Her TV credits include Everything Now and Hostage (Netflix); Alex Rider (Amazon), and The Madame Blanc Mysteries (Channel 5). She has been Off West End-nominated for her stage work, and as a singer Fleur has performed at Sinfonia Smith Square. Audiobook titles include The Night Ship by Jess Kidd and Daughters of Jerusalem by Charlotte Mendelson.
