The Big Hug Collection comprises of ten enlightening tales that offer gentle explanations of emotions and relationships through analogies children can relate to. These include: A Family is Like a Cake, Anger is Like Armour, Friendship is Like a Seesaw, Life is Like the Wind, Love is Like a Tree, The Internet is Like a Puddle, The Playground is Like the Jungle, Worries Are Like Clouds, You Are Like You and Your Mind is Like a Garden. Each story in the collection has grown from psychological sessions with children (and sometimes with grown ups) to help them understand and talk about complex emotional situations in simple, approachable ways. The Big Hug collection acknowledges that some moments in life are tricky and encourages acceptance, problem solving and help-seeking as needed.

Om forfatteren

A Bachelor of Performing Arts graduate, Elizabeth has a vast background in classical theatre, improvisation and devised performance. After completing several successful seasons with The Australian Shakespeare Company and performing in/co-devising the Green Room Award nominated production of The Nose, she has recently expanded into film work, appearing in corporate adverts, music videos and short films, both independent and professional.
