關於本有聲書

Philip is 12 years old and life is pretty good. He gets on with his mum and gets by pretty well at school – in spite of girl problems, teacher problems, bully problems and – er – poetry problems. Philip's happy-go-lucky life is disrupted when his mother gets breast cancer. Bad enough that your mother is seriously ill – but could she not have developed a less embarrassing kind of cancer – toe cancer, maybe, or ear cancer? Philip's attempts to cope with his situation are both hilarious and touching. Through it all, he's writing letters to his hero, the comedian Harry Hill, looking for advice.

Harry Hill is regarded as one of the UK’s finest and most original stand-up comedians. His unique brand of humour, interweaving running gags, music, short films and far-fetched yarns, has been rewarded with numerous awards, countless nominations and many accolades. Born in Woking, Surrey, Hill grew up in Hong Kong and Kent before studying neurosurgery at the University of London. After leaving his job as a doctor to concentrate on his stand-up career, he landed his own TV show on Channel 4, The Harry Hill Show. Greatly admired across the Atlantic, Harry made a storming appearance on The Late Show (CBS), and has since been invited back five times – a record for a British stand-up.
