It is the turn of the century in an England that never was. Bright new aqua-plants are generating electricity for the streetlights; news can be easily had on the radio-viz; and in GundisalvusтАЩs Land, the war is over and the soldiers are beginning to trickle home. Amongst these is Lt. Benjamin Braddock, survivor of the massacre that ended the war, and begrudgingly ready to return to a world that, well, doesnтАЩt seem to need him any more than it did in peacetime. His friends have homes and families to return to, while heтАЩs got nothing but his discharge papers and a couple of unwanted medals. Oh, and one new thing: the furious ghost of his commanding officer.
Fortunately, since the officerтАЩs family is so vehemently adamant that Braddock join their rich and carefree fold, he doesnтАЩt have much time to fret about being haunted. But the secrets of the war are about to catch up to them all.

Premee Mohamed is a spec-fic writer working out of Canada. Many of her stories rely on her years of work making franken-canola, climbing fences whilst balancing incredibly expensive equipment on her back, traumatizing fruit flies, running away from bears, stepping into sulphuric acid, squelching into mine tailings, blowing up her distillation apparatus, and being attacked by birds. Her short fiction has been published in a wide variety of venues.
Claire Bloom gained international fame in 1951 with her screen debut in Charles Chaplin???s motion picture Limelight. Among her many memorable films are Richard III, The Haunting, Look Back in Anger, and A Doll???s House.
Stefan Rudnicki is an award winning audiobook narrator, director and producer. He was born in Poland and now resides in Studio City, California. He has narrated more than three hundred audiobooks and has participated in over a thousand as a writer, producer, or director. He is a recipient of multiple Audie Awards and AudioFile Earphones Awards as well as a Grammy Award, a Bram Stoker Award, and a Ray Bradbury Award. He received AudioFileтАЩs award for 2008 Best Voice in Science Fiction and Fantasy. Along with a cast of other narrators, Rudnicki has read a number of Orson Scott Card's best-selling science fiction novels. He worked extensively with many other science fiction authors, including David Weber and Ben Bova. In reviewing the twentieth anniversary edition audiobook of CardтАЩs Ender's Game, Publishers Weekly stated, "Rudnicki, with his lulling, sonorous voice, does a fine job articulating Ender's inner struggle between the kind, peaceful boy he wants to be and the savage, violent actions he is frequently forced to take." Rudnicki is also a stage actor and director.
