Wade Ashby inherits his grandfather's estate in Oxfordshire, England, becoming 13th Baron of Ashby Manor. He travels from Australia with his friend Hugh to take up his birthright and find out why there is secrecy surrounding certain aspects of the baronage and members of the family. Well-known in stage and screen, Richard Piper has worked for Malthouse and MTC in Melbourne, Sydney Theatre Company, Bell Shakespeare, Belvoir and State Theatre Company of SA. Music theatre includes King Kong, Billy Elliot and The New Rocky Horror Show. Screen highlights include Wentworth, Australia on Trial - Myall Creek, Tangle, Underbelly: The Movie Files, City Homicide, Satisfaction, Blue Heelers, Crashburn, MDA, Stingers and Neighbours. Film credits include Pirates of the Caribbean 5, Mission Impossible and a Green Room Award for MTC’s The Daylight Atheist in 2004.
