My name is Mihai Ilioi, a distinguished author, that finds profound humility and exhilaration in the opportunity to provide readers with a brief insight into my life life. Born on July 25th, 1969, in Romania, amidst the zenith of a communist regime, I embarked on a relentless quest for political, economic, and religious freedom of expression. At the tender age of 18, in 1988, I undertook a daring escape from the clutches of the communist regime by traversing the Danube River, which delineated the border between Romania and Yugoslavia (now Serbia). Subsequently, UNICEF facilitated my relocation to New York, marking the commencement of a new chapter in my life's narrative—one characterized by roles as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.

In the realm of literature, I am fueled by a fervent passion for sharing my profound experiences and insights. My preferred modes of expression encompass poetry, songs, and writings that eloquently capture the nuances of our everyday realities. Beyond my literary pursuits, I serve as the pastor of the Phoenix Worship Community and hold the distinction of being the founder of The Expressed Thoughts Podcast.
