I really liked this quick little read/listen! I was not sure what I was getting into for the first few chapters but it hooked my attention and I could not put it down. I did not like Isla's uncle or Marcus by the sound of these two. I felt sorry Julie and was glad she and Isla could escape. I love the bears: Torbin, Hunn, Ran and Finn. They are super kind, caring and loving to Isla. What a bond!! This was such a different book than the usual shifter books I have read but I really enjoyed it. I l

This is the first book in the Claiming Her Bears series, a why choose bear shifters romance. The story is original and steamy. While it wasn’t entirely my cup of tea, I’m sure it will resonate with fans of the genre. and readers who enjoy spicy paranormal stories. Kyo Sija did a good job bringing the story to life. Ila is running away from her uncle. The ice is so Frozen that she can walk across it to get to another island. Four men find her and keep her safe and prevent her from having hypothermia. But they are shifters. They are on a mission and she is now part of it to help find a home. Funny. Cold. Snow and more snow. It is kind of World building. It is an audiobook that I received. These bears are playful and protective. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
