ELLIOTT WOODS is a multimedia journalist who covers ordinary people caught up in extraordinary events. Before becoming a journalist, Woods served in Iraq with the Virginia Army National Guard and attended the University of Virginia. When he is not out searching for stories, Woods can usually be found somewhere along a stream or knee-deep in snow with his dog, Arty.
