About the author
Shannon K. Evans, a writer in the contemplative Catholic tradition, is a monthly columnist for Jesuits.org and a regular contributor to Franciscan Media. Evans has written for Blessed Is She, Verily magazine, Romper, America, and Relevant and is the author of Embracing Weakness. A mother of five, she lives in Ames, Iowa.
Joana Garcia is a retired military officer with twenty years of active duty under her belt. She spent most of her adult life fixing fighter jets on aircraft carriers as a US Navy aviation maintenance officer. Her warm, rich, and graceful voice can be heard in over sixty titles in multiple genres, fiction and nonfiction.
