Staffan Nordstrand is a successful writer who never planned to be one. Staffan’s early life was full of many challenges. At an early age, despite his parents’ attempts to reign in his adventurous spirit (at one point, they tied his tricycle to a flagpole causing him to cycle endlessly in a circle), he began to break free from their constraints.
After surviving his teenage years on the back streets of Stockholm, he went on a dramatic transformation, educating himself and pulling himself up to take advantage of various opportunities.
Although occupying top positions at leading IT and construction companies, having taken managerial assignments for construction projects in Thailand, he found himself looking closely at the harsh realities of how society really worked behind the scenes. His adventures led him to investigate the darker and often dangerous areas of life, including human trafficking, arms dealing and drug smuggling.
Becoming a writer was never in his plans. But in 2011, he wrote his first novel and nine more followed. The stories in his books are based heavily on his real-life experiences.
David Bateson is a South African-born English actor, voice actor and comedian. He is best known for providing the voice of Agent 47, the protagonist of IO Interactive’s video game series Hitman.
