Karen Daily, recently divorced, lives with her two kids in a quaint suburb of New York City. She's teaching at a nearby elementary school, starting to date again, and for the first time in years has found joy in her life.

Jason Starr is the internationally bestselling author of many crime novels and thrillers, including Nothing Personal, Hard Feelings, and Panic Attack. Jason is one of only several authors who have won the Anthony Award for mystery fiction multiple times. He lives in New York City.
Mike Chamberlain is an actor and voice-over performer, as well as an AudioFile Earphones Award-winning audiobook narrator. Along with animation and video game characters, Mike performs narration and voices promos for television. He lives with his wife and daughter in Southern California.
