Par šo audiogrāmatu

Sam the sheep is having a hard time. He is pining for Ava the fox, and his actor friends are away performing their play without him. What’s more, someone has decided to build a Community Centre in the next field, and the noise is simply terrible.

One of the builders has deeply offended Morag the Tabby Cat, and she is starting a Resistance movement—though why she thinks there are gorillas in the field is anybody’s guess.

Watt the dog is in trouble as usual; Erin the hedgehog has upset the bees; and a pair of demented squirrels is racing around on a zip line. It seems everyone is having problems. How is one grumpy little sheep supposed to sort out all of this?

Performed by the author, with Cate Barratt as the voice of Morag.

Par autoru

Linda Barrans is a British narrator with a fondness for Jane Austen and Shakespeare. She wrote the Sam the Sheep books to make positive use of the time during COVID lockdown, and to give herself and her friend Cate Barratt a modern piece to record together.

After a career in communications and a life dabbling in theatre, Cate Barratt now spends her time narrating audiobooks—from mysteries to dramatic readings, from comedies to history books. These can be found on Audible, iTunes, Amazon, and more.
