My name is Tanya, and to put it simply: I love writing.My passion for writing started at a young age, but I would never have thought in a million years that I'd be writing screenplays, stage plays, television pilots, or children's books as part of my path. I love writing because it humbles me within, and it's therapeutic to me; sharing my writing with others is a joy.I'm an African American woman, mother of two children, and a new grandmother to a beautiful granddaughter. A passionate humanitarian to my core, I also run a nonprofit organization called WeLiveOn2, which supports low-income families by teaching them computer literacy and job readiness skills. We also help those who have been incarcerated obtain employment. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with family, loved ones, and friends. I also enjoy cooking, playing cards, watching movies, video games, and traveling. If I put a smile on someone's face after reading my books, scripts, or listening to my audibles, I know I got the job done.My belief is, "never give up on a dream, for others cannot dream for you."Tanya Hilson
