Mia’s wedding day did not go as planned. Instead, it’s a total disaster. Her groom vanished without a trace, her bank account has mysteriously been wiped out and she found herself locked out of her new apartment still wearing her wedding dress. What could be worse? Possibly meeting her infuriatingly handsome landlord with a mascara-streaked face and still wearing said dress might be it.

Derek had been used to being the charming no-strings-attached bartender for years. However, watching all his friends settle down the past few years, has started to poke holes in his perfect existence. Falling in love? That’s never been the plan.
