Jean Fullerton is the British author of 11 historical novels, nearly all set in the East End of London where she was born and spent most of her working life. She is a qualified District and Queen's nurse who worked first as a Sister in charge of a team, and then as a District Nurse tutor. She is also a qualified teacher and spent twelve years lecturing on community nursing studies at a London university. She now writes full-time.

Billie Fulford-Brown is a London-based actress and voice artist. She is an award-winning narrator, winning seven Earphone Awards, the Best Audiobook Performance Fiction at The One Voice Awards 2023 and 2020, and the 2024 Audie for Best Fiction Narrator for her performance in Hazel Gaynor's The Last Lifeboat.
