Mel Thompson is a freelance writer, specialising in philosophy, religion and ethics. He has written many books including six in the Teach Yourself series. He has also been an assistant examiner on the Oxford, Cambridge and RSA examination boards.
Mark Vernon is an author and journalist. He has a degree in physics, theology and philosophy, regularly contributes to debates and festivals, and is a founding member of The School of Life in London.
Dr Nicky Hayes is a Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Chartered Psychologist and an Honorary Life Member of the Association for the Teaching of Psychology. She has written widely and is a prominent media figure, thanks to her ability to apply psychology to everyday life and her experience working with business and the public sector as well as in universities and colleges.
