This little book of nonsense poems very much reflects on the writer’s own experience of life in the not-so-fast lane! Most of the short poems were written in the hope that some of the situations described therein might spark a note of recognition and maybe raise a smile or two among other “recycled teenagers”!

Helen Ings is an 80-year-old Widow, proud mother of four, Grandmother of ten, and Great-grandmother of five! A great admirer of Pam Ayres And of Edward Lear’s ‘Ruthless Rhymes’, she hopes that some Of her little poems in this, her First book, may also raise a Smile or two!
