Making rounds to homes one wet spring morning, veterinarian Dr. Kate Turner rescues a family’s hamster from a vacuum cleaner, then visits an estate whose owners breed champion Cavalier King Charles spaniels. A practicing veterinarian for over twenty years, Eileen Brady’s first book, Muzzled, A Kate Turner, DVM, Mystery, won the 2013 Discover Mystery Award. She lives in Fountain Hills, Arizona, with her husband and two daughters plus an assortment of furry friends.
Caroline Shaffer studied theater at the Weber Douglas Academy in London and received her master's degree from the American Conservatory Theater. A voiceover artist in addition to an actor, she has lent her talents to multiple projects ranging from television, film, commercials, and cartoons. An avid reader, she spends her free time reading anything from classics to new releases.
