Despre această carte audio

A woman is found murdered in a country park. The baby she was carrying? Gone. Detective Lola Harris is called to a murder scene on a cold October morning. The body of a young woman has been found by a dog walker in the reeds at Darnley Glen. The victim was seen just hours earlier, running through the darkness clutching a newborn. There's no sign of a baby. Then comes the 999 call. At 1am, a woman broke into Lawrence Dixon's home and kidnapped his ten-week-old son at gunpoint. The intruder matches the dead woman's description. Now Lola's chasing shadows through a maze of lies, secrets and stolen lives. Who was the woman? Why did she take the child? And where is the baby now? The clock is ticking. And the truth is more twisted than Lola ever imagined.
