On the same day, the war inflicted Septimus is struggling to keep his dark thoughts and vivid flashbacks from overwhelming him, leading to a catastrophic turn of events.
We encounter a vast array of characters through their internal monologues, all of which touch Clarissa’s life in some way and are all brought together by her party.
This audiobook version has been succinctly broken into chapters reflecting each character’s point of view.

Virginia Woolf (1882-1941) was born in London. She became a central figure in The Bloomsbury Group, an informal collective of British writers, artists and thinkers. In 1912 Virginia married Leonard Woolf, a writer and social reformer. She wrote many works of literature which are now considered masterpieces, including Mrs Dalloway, To the Lighthouse, Orlando, and The Waves.
Megan Green is an audiobook narrator with more than twenty years of experience in the performing arts as well as a passion for literature. An Audible Approved narrator, she hails from the South of England.
