About the author
Mick Herron, geboren 1963 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, studierte Englische Literatur in Oxford, wo er auch lebt. Seit 2024 ist er Mitglied der Royal Society of Literature. Seine Romane wurden vielfach ausgezeichnet, u. a. mit dem Theakston's Old Peculier Crime Novel und dem Ellery Queen Readers Award; für sein Lebenswerk erhielt er 2025 den CWA Diamond Dagger. Sowohl seine in London angesiedelte ›Slow Horses‹-Serie als auch die Oxford-Serie um die Privatermittlerin Zoë Boehm werden mit Starbesetzung von Apple TV+ verfilmt.
