Inanna is a dying planet, ravaged by a clone war, pollution, and overpopulation. Its people have one last chance to survive: the Star Born Explorers space program, or Star-born-e for short. The program aims to send six spaceships into space, each with a mission of colonising a new world. But the launches face many difficulties and only four spaceships manage to escape the planet’s atmosphere. And only three of them make it to their destination.

This book series follows the adventures of some of the Star-born-e crews as they face the challenges of settling on alien planets, dealing with hostile life forms, and uncovering the secrets of their new home.

The third book, The Clones of Inanna tells of the story of the first ship to be launched. The crew of the Ninedini must adapt to the primitive conditions of their new home and survive attacks from hostile creatures while trying to fulfil their mission of colonizing the planet. Thousands of years later, a dark history connects them to the fourth ship and Earth.
