Lucy seems to be out on a limb. Everybody has a boyfriend except her, and since she put Tony on the back burner he's found someone else. Then on a spa weekend with Izzie, she meets someone who seems just right for her. And he feels the same way about her. But after a while, Lucy starts to feel smothered. Can someone love you too much? Cathy Hopkins lives in North London with her handsome husband and three deranged cats... Or possibly her handsome cats and deranged husband! She has had over twenty books published. Apart from that, she is looking for the answers to why we're here, where we've come from and what it's all about. She is also looking for the perfect hairdresser.

Shirley Barthelmie studied drama at East 15 Acting School in London. She has a love of theatre and the spoken word which has led to voiceover and audiobook work since emigrating to Australia. She especially enjoys pantomime and has toured with children's shows throughout the UK. Shirly had narrated a number of Kathy Lette books including Altar Ego as well as Blood Sinister and The Cunning Man by Celia Rees.
