Izzie is restless, and eager to be treated like an adult. So she decides it's time to make some changes. But the new Izzie comes with new problems. First, there is Josh Harper, an older, cute but wild boy. Then there is her mother, who is opposed to every part of the 'new Izzie'. And then there is one night at Nesta's house, when Izzie decides to make cocktails ... In the process, Izzie learns a great deal about herself and what it means to be grown up, but not before she's upset just about everyone along the way.

Cathy Hopkins lives in North London with her handsome husband and three deranged cats... Or possibly her handsome cats and deranged husband! She has had over twenty books published. Apart from that, she is looking for the answers to why we're here, where we've come from and what it's all about. She is also looking for the perfect hairdresser.

Shirley Barthelmie studied drama at East 15 Acting School in London. She has a love of theatre and the spoken word which has led to voiceover and audiobook work since emigrating to Australia. She especially enjoys pantomime and has toured with children's shows throughout the UK. Shirly had narrated a number of Kathy Lette books including Altar Ego as well as Blood Sinister and The Cunning Man by Celia Rees.
