Marisha Pessl wurde 1977 in North Carolina geboren und studierte Englische Literatur an der Columbia University. Sie lebt in New York.
Wolfram Koch, 1962 in Paris geboren und an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt ausgebildet, ist ein erfolgreicher Theater-, Film- und Fernsehschauspieler und spricht auch zahlreiche Hörbücher und Hörspiele. Ab 2014 wird er neuer Ermittler im „Tatort" Frankfurt.
