About the author
Marcus Tullius Cicero (106-43 BC) was a Roman statesman and philosopher whose lifetime coincided with the decline and fall of the Roman republic. His best-known works include On the Republic, On Duties, and Treatises on Friendship and Old Age.
Philip Freeman is a Professor of Humanities at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He earned his PhD from Harvard University in Classical Philology and Celtic Languages and Literatures. His books have been reviewed in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and other national publications.
Born and raised in Southampton, England, Shaun Grindell is an accomplished actor who trained at the Calland School of Speech and Drama and the Lee Strasberg Actors Institute in London. An AudioFile Earphones Award-winning audiobook narrator, Shaun has narrated many titles in different genres.
