About this audiobook

His name is all he has...

Along with the rest of Culloden’s 79, Macbeth is being forced to move on to the next life. But with a small, angry army waiting for him inside the gates of the hereafter, he’s got more reason than most to stay a ghost. Sadly, that's not an option. And if he can't resist the distraction of a tempestuous American lass, he’ll miss his final chance to redeem his name before the inevitable fight.

As if Catherine didn’t have enough to worry about, she’s attracted the attention of a hot-but-crazy guy who thinks he’s "The Highlander." Luckily for her, she is allergic to all things Scottish, so her heart is in no danger. Unfortunately, he thinks the best thing to do with his weekend is to barge into her life and endanger her grandpa’s delicate state of mind.

If all else fails, she'll try killing him with kindness.

Let me start with a tissue warning, like not the whole box or anything, but have a couple handy. Catherine has put her life on hold to care for her grandfather. People have been cured of stage 4 lung cancer, right? Armed with determination, optimism, brass knuckles and a charged taser an exhausted Catherine is ready to take on whatever it takes. When a giant man clad in a kilt comes on the scene, she appreciates the view, but can’t wait to be rid of him. Can any love fix this?

I enjoyed the narration of Andrew McDermott and Jenn McGuirk MacBeth is one of ghosts of 79 people who died at Culloden. Each ghost must complete a noble deed. MacBeth ends up in a coffee shop where he sees Catherine. He beats up some thugs who is following her, and then breaks into her home and charms her dying grandfather to the point she can’t get rid of him. This book has humour. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is book 10 in The Ghosts of Culloden Moor Series, a Scottish Paranormal Romance. I love this series! Macbeth and Catherine's story is sweet, intriguing, and heartwarming. They are both amazing characters. The story is original, and captivating. Andrew McDermott and Jenn McGuirk did an excellent job bringing these characters and this story to life. This is another amazing addition to the series. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Adam, the next book in the series.
