About the author

Lulu Delacre is the illustrator of many award-winning children's books, several of which she also wrote or compiled, and a nonfiction novel for teens. A native of Puerto Rico, Delacre lives in Silver Spring, Maryland, with her husband and their daughter.

Victoria Villarreal is a first-generation Mexican American bilingual voice-over and film and television actress. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she holds a BFA in musical theater with an acting emphasis. She is currently based in Los Angeles, California.
