After writing her first book - on student life - whilst still a student at Oxford University, journalist Lucy Tobin is now a seasoned author with several books to her name. She is an award-winning reporter, self-confessed money-saving nerd, and personal finance editor of the Evening Standard. Lucy is also a contributor to Radio 4's Broadcasting House, and Women's Hour, BBC TV's Breakfast and Show me the Money, plus Sky News and BBC News 24.
Kat Poole is a writer, editor and consultant who has worked with editorial publications and commercial brands for nearly a decade. She spent six years as part of the multi-award winning editorial team at The Stylist Group, where she was launch editor of Stylist Loves (formerly Emerald Street), head of email content, and worked across digital and print. Most recently she was editor at fashion and lifestyle brand hush, where she launched their in-house magazine Life etc. and headed up brand copy and tone of voice. She specialises in lifestyle, culture and entertainment, and she loves bringing brands’ stories to life. She is also experienced at hosting live events, from author interviews to industry panels.
Emma Tate began acting with the Royal Court Youth Theatre and trained at the Drama Studio, London. She made her professional debut at the Young Vic Theatre and has since appeared in a number of popular TV shows. She has featured in BBC radio dramas, has voiced a multitude of bestselling video games and is the voice of many well-known cartoon characters for animated films and long running shows, including Shaun the Sheep Movie, Bob the Builder and Horrid Henry to name a few. Emma has narrated numerous audiobooks, including the Costa Prize winning, Millie and Bird.
