Recently, Lincoln has been embodied once again (as idealist and pragmatist) by outstanding historians, by self-identified Lincolnian president Barak Obama, and by actor Daniel Day-Lewis- all keeping Lincoln alive in a body of memory that speaks volumes about our nation.
