After a one-night stand, hockey player Jaylen believes he’s found his lucky charm in aspiring tattoo artist Lucy. Their arrangement quickly blossoms into unexpected romance, forcing them to confront their reservations about commitment. I love this steamy and emotional rom-com. Lucy and Jaylen are wonderful, complex characters with strong romantic and sensual chemistry. The novel is fast-paced and fun. I enjoyed the audiobook narration. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received.

Lexi LaFleur Brown comes from a long line of hockey fans, so itwas no surprise when she decided to hit the ice herself. Having grown up in thecrease, she has seen it all. From the bottom of a dog pile after a big win, tothe long quiet bus ride home after a loss and is better having faced both.
