moving and made even so much more saddening and maddening on how the Biden Administration just ran away like cowards leaving millions of dollars military hardware from frome. Bradley's to helicopters, anti tank missiles, c4 , cases of ammo and rifles. Leaving allies to die at the hands of the Taliban..women's rts goodbye they must cover from head to tie in public, no reading, writing and arithmetic for Afghan girls! don't hear peep out the pro Palestine, leftist losers! the Afghans are wonderful peo0le and deserve better! Fairly certain the friends I made while serving over there are dead. hunted by the Talibaban! Biden you and Kamla have so much blood on your hands

About the author
Khaled Hosseini was born in Kabul, Afghanistan, and moved to the United States in 1980. His first novel, The Kite Runner, was an international bestseller, published in forty countries. In 2006 he was named a U.S. envoy to UNHCR, The United Nations Refugee Agency. He lives in northern California.
Atossa Leoni has been working internationally in film, television and theater since childhood. Of Afghan and Iranian descent, she was born and raised in Europe and has been living in California for the past decade. Atossa played the female lead "Soraya" in Marc Forster's film "The Kite Runner" based on Khaled Hosseini's best-selling novel.
