The book feels rushed and missing details. Like skimming over important parts and emotions. I would have rated it a 2 but because it kept my attention to the end I'll consider a 3, even though I wanted to quite listing a few times, I also hoped it to get better. The characters were ok but I was also lost a few times not sure what is going on or what is happening. The book has potential and it might be someones brand but for me it consentrated more on the spice and not so much on the actual storyline.

The narrating is frustrating to listen to. The inflection of some words is off, the pronunciation of words is wrong, the pausing in the sentence is off, the changing of speakers in the book is either run into the previous paragraph or into the new one. AI is difficult to listen to because it is so robotic and leaves out the humanity of speech.

Good story, I would give it a 4.5 rating but the robotic voice almost made me quit listening. That is the reason behind the 3 star rating.
