In 1939 the Nazis invade Lodz, Poland, forcing four-year-old Syvia Perlmutter and 270,000 other Jews into a ghetto surrounded by barbed wire and guarded by armed men. I've read many holocaust books,but none about the ghetto this book is where a family did what they needed to do to save children that were there own and others.and how listening to your gut is sometimes better than what you think is right.
