About this audiobook

Narcissism is an overwhelming and confusing topic. But when you reveal its mask, you see that it is basically a lie, told to those who are vulnerable.

Narcissistic abuse, by nature, is designed to keep you trapped in shame-based vertigo. It doesn’t just go away because you know it exists. Narcissism creates a set of beliefs, behaviours and paradigms in its target which must be changed from the inside.

‘How To Kill A Narcissist’ is a book with two aims:

1. To reveal the rotten core of the narcissistic personality so you can see it clearly

2. To present you with an inside-out strategy for healing, recovery and freedom

Using an inside-out approach, ‘How To Kill A Narcissist’ presents the seven practices for recovery and healing:

1. Get allies: Boost self-esteem through limbic resonance

2. Give shape to your true self: Uncover disowned parts of the self and restore wholeness

3. Skill up: Empower yourself

4. Flex your muscles: Challenge the psychological cage and come out of hiding

5. Even the scale: Restore balance to your relationships

6. Boundaries: Foster a strong sense of self and firmly protect it

7. Scorched earth: Disengage from those who wish to manipulate you

Each practice is designed to instil you with independence, strength, emotional resilience and awareness while allowing you to cultivate balanced, loving relationships and pursue a life of passion.

This is the art of killing a narcissist.

Absolute brilliance! A very clear, complete and idiot proof written guide to escape a narcissistic prison (in my case an ex, who is the mother of our 2 young kids). I had already 'escaped' from my Alcatraz when I found this gem. It helped me look back and label stuff I had felt but not recognized. Made me 'see the light' and allow me to rise above the situation I am and was in. A very, very accurate and almost clinical description of all facets that a narcissistic relationship has, including my own behavior. And a practical and decisive guide to get over a narcissistic relationship and move on with one's own life. Many, many thanks to Mr Simon for writing it. I owe you big time dude!

I have never read your books. But just explaining what a victim goes thru. Helped me understand how screwed up my mother is! I moved in with her 10 yrs ago after my husband passed. She is 85yrs old. It's been a living hell!!!! She abused me as a child!! After being away so long. I forgot about it. After moving in. The horrible memories came back. Instead of being afraid. I stand up to her and dare her to hit me! Just so I can beat the hell out of her.!! 🤑😠Tammy

This book talks about shame for the first 4 chapters and acknowledges that narcissists don't feel shame. It doesn't have any calls to action. If you are looking for this book you need more swift assistance this book is just a big headache.
