關於這本有聲書

He’s thirteen, angry, and ready to fight the world.

RJ Boynton has never had it easy. His dad is gone, his brother’s in jail, and his mom—sick and worn down—can barely keep it together. With trouble following him everywhere he goes, RJ lashes out the only way he knows how: with his fists.

After a violent showdown at the local bowling alley leaves him with a broken arm and mounting legal trouble, RJ’s world gets turned upside down when his estranged grandfather moves in. Tough, blunt, and full of hard truths, the old man is the last person RJ wants in his life—but maybe the only one who can help set him straight.

Torn between the pull of street smarts and the quiet hope for something better, RJ must confront the choices that are shaping him. But growing up means more than surviving—it means finding out who you really are when no one else believes in you.

JD is a gritty, emotionally charged coming-of-age story about family, forgiveness, and finding your way in a world that feels stacked against you.
