Par šo audiogrāmatu

"In The Storm" is LeMoyne's personal account of the aftermath of Hurricane Andrew in south Florida. The writer, with his wife, daughter, and sister-in-law, evacuated their apartment near downtown Miami and drove to a friend's concrete-block house about five miles inland. The worst of the storm struck just 10 miles farther south. In the end, Hurricane Andrew severely damaged 300 square miles, with about 100 square miles blasted or simply gone. Fifteen people were killed that night by the storm. This selection is part of the full length audiobook, "Storm: Stories of Survival From Land and Sea."

James Lemoyne is a writer and journalist. His work has appeared in many magazines, including The New Yorker. Foucheux’s acting career began in 1983. The Louisiana native hosted a local morning talk show before turning to writing and acting—he’d minored in theater at Nicholls State University—eventually winning a Helen Hayes Award for his performance in Edmond at Source Theatre.
