Mhairi Morrison did a great job with all of the different voices in this story. Isobel is a very strong woman and I liked how she handled things with her husband, both when she thought she’d been betrayed and also after she finds out more. Darach has a lot to learn, not only about being a laird but also about how to conduct himself when it comes to women. Once I finished this I immediately wanted to continue on with the next book.
