Trev and his friends encounter a famous veteran team hunting their same targets in the mountains. With their rising fame of the Sonoran Shield and growing threats to the entire country, the Shield thinks it's time to establish more formal alliances.

But not all heroes share the same priorities.

A shocking precognitive vision of a devastating attack on Tucson only highlights the need to team up, but the leader of the veterans appears more concerned with autographs and taking Cassie on dates than danger to civilians. When an old threat from 46P1 resurfaces, Trev and the team aren't sure whom they can trust.
