About this audiobook

"When courage takes shape, even the smallest hero can make a giant impact."

Step into the world of Herman Gonzalez, a middle schooler navigating friendships, family drama, and unexpected superpowers in Hermandible by Evan Jacobs. Herman's life takes a wild turn when he's stung by a bee, awakening mysterious mandible-like powers.

As he grapples with his newfound abilities, Herman finds himself facing school bullies, participating in hot dog-eating contests, and learning what it truly means to be a hero—just like the Knights of the Round Table he admires.

Packed with heart, humor, and action, Hermandible is a captivating story of self-discovery, friendship, and bravery. Young readers will relate to Herman's struggles and root for him as he learns to embrace his unique gifts and stand up for what's right. If you enjoy stories of ordinary kids with extraordinary powers, you'll love Hermandible—a fun and heartfelt tale that reminds us that courage comes in many forms.
