Über dieses Hörbuch

Can the young, spirited paramedic mend the broken heart of an older, battle-worn ex-soldier?

Fletcher

Being medically discharged from the British Army after a brutal tour in Afghanistan should have ended my days of saving lives. Instead, I put my combat medic skills to use as a paramedic, tackling chaos head-on. There’s nothing I can’t handle—until I’m partnered with Grace Newton. She’s everything I’m not. Young, idealistic, and a burst of sunshine in my dark world. And that should be a problem. I’m her mentor, her senior, and completely off-limits. But one kiss shatters my restraint, making me crave her touch for more than just a moment—forever.

Grace

Landing my first job as a qualified paramedic should be exciting, but being paired with Fletcher Hardy almost has me questioning my career choice. Gruff, distant, and impossible to read, he’s the last person I expected to connect with. But I know the toll war takes on a man—I’ve seen it in my own father. And behind Fletch’s tough exterior, I glimpse someone kind, someone worthy of love. The more time we spend together, the harder I fall. But can my love reach the wounds he keeps buried, or will he always be just out of my grasp?

Healing the Warrior is a little darker than my other work, and contains trigger warnings for mental health issues, and physical and mental abuse. This story is set in London and is written in UK English.
