Charlie Gallagher was a serving UK police officer for 13 years. During that time he had many roles – starting as a front-line response officer, he became a member of a specialist tactical team and finally a detective investigating serious offences. Charlie left to concentrate on writing full time.

Antonia Beamish is a London actor and voice artist who performed with Circus Archaos before being awarded a scholarship to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts NYC. She returned to London and was cast as the lead in Educating Rita for a European tour. Antonia is a prolific voice actor, with roles in Larian Studios's Divinity: Original Sin, and many audiobooks, including The Truth About Melody Brown by Lisa Jewell and Elodie Brown’s The Wolf Den Trilogy.
