When Candice “Candy” Hardaway, the daughter of deceased New York drug kingpin Eric “Easy” Hardaway, set out to get revenge on the people who killed her entire family, she positioned herself knee-deep in the game. She earned her baccalaureate degree in criminal justice from St. John’s University and her master’s degree in public administration from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. In 2004, Amaleka moved to the DC metro area and went to work for the United States government. She has made a home there with her husband and three children.
